What is Group Gifting?
BridalPod’s Group Gifting concept allows for multiple cash contributions (cash gifts) to be made towards a pricey cash fund goal. It is made available for you to use to creatively ask your guests contribute to funding ideas which you plan to buy or spend your money on with the cash gifts you’ll be receiving after your wedding. It also allows your guests to contribute to your fund goals with any amount of they choose to.

Transparency is our goal! Expect no hidden or unexplained charges. All charges are accounted for in using our registry service.
Couples Pay BridalPod Service Fee
Now that the option to cover the Paypal fee is set to the guests – we are happy and able to offer a low service fee of 3.6% to our members. We realized that this option will be more popular among couples since they will not be absorbing all the transaction fees involved. The service fee will be deducted from the total cash fund amount that the couples received before we initiate the bank transfer.
Recipients Pay Bank Transfer Fee
There will be a fixed amount of 100 pesos as a transfer fee every time we seamlessly transfer couples’ cash funds from our bank to them.

Creating A Cash Fund Registry
Where do I begin?
You will have to fill out a few details about your wedding to help us set up your registry, then you can start building your cash fund registry.
I live outside Metro Manila. Can I create a Cash Fund Registry?
Yes, absolutely! BridalPod’s Cash Fund Registry is available to all registered members nationwide. You will need to provide a local bank account to receive the fund transfer.
Why is it important that I use my real first and last name?
We highly recommend that you use your real first name and last name when you create a registry. This would help verify your account. It will be easier for your guests and assure them as well that they have the right registry.
Can I edit my information in my Registry account?
Once your guests start contributing to your cash fund registry, you cannot edit information in the Bank Information tab of your Registry account (with padlock icon).
How far in advance should I start my Cash Fund Registry?
You can start creating your registry right after you’ve announced your engagement and already have set the wedding date.
How Cash Fund Registry Works
- Start building your registry with our curated funding ideas.
- Set amount for each funding goal you’ve selected.
- Queue – choose the order in which you want goals to get funded.
“Every time” a funding goal is fulfilled or completed. When a goal is fully-funded or completed (even before your wedding date) it will be processed and transferred to your bank account. Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for your cash fund transfer to process.

What is a funding goal?
Funding goal is like your wishlist. It’s a creative way to tell your guests how much you need, where you plan to spend or what you plan to buy with your cash gifts without the price guilt. It’s a fund goal where your guests can contribute with any amount they choose to give.

How do I add a funding goal to my Cash Fund Registry?
It’s very simple! Select and add funding goal to your Cash Fund Registry from our curated list.
How many funding goals can I add?
It depends on how much you think your total goal is. A funding goal has options that start from P25K up to P100K. If you added all these funding ideas to your cash fund registry (which you can!) the most goal you can set is at P500K.
Is there a maximum amount for each funding goal?
Each funding goal can start from P25K to P100K.
Why are funding goals in a queue?
Funding is one (1) at a time. You choose the order in which you want them to get funded. Your guests can start contributing to the goal that is currently in progress (“Running”). When a goal is fully funded, the next goal in the queue will appear as “Running”. The funded goal will then be labeled “FUNDED” while the other goals waiting to be funded will be labeled “IN QUEUE”.
Can I edit my funding goals in my Registry after I’ve shared it?
Absolutely! You can add, delete, and rearrange the order (queue) of your funding goals except for the goal where contributions are in progress.
How do I remove a funding goal from my Registry?
It’s simple. Simply delete it as long as a contribution to that funding goal has not started yet.
Sharing My Registry
How do I get the word out about my registry?
Simple. You can share your Wedding Registry with your Wedding Website’s URL on your social media accounts or send it to your guests thru email.
Why do I need a Wedding Website for my Registry?
We designed the wedding registry in a way that makes sense and gives you the best experience. With your Wedding Website and Registry combined, it’s the simplest and convenient way for both you and your guests. You can share all the important details of your wedding PLUS your Registry on your Wedding Website.

How do I add my Registry to my Wedding Website?
The good news is, you don’t have to. We’ve streamlined the process for you that when you publish your registry, it will automatically appear in the Registry section of your Wedding Website.
How long will my Registry be available to my guests?
Your Registry will be available until your wedding date.
How can I keep track of goal contributions?
You can track your goal contributions on the Manage Funding Goal tab of your Registry account. In addition, you can see the real-time progress of your registry as guests contribute in the Registry section of your wedding website, guests’ names and the amount of their contributions are also displayed. *Guests have the option to display their names or stay anonymous.
Do I get notifications when guests contribute to my Registry?
Yes. You will receive notifications on your BridalPod account.
Receiving My Cash Fund
When do I receive my cash fund?
When a goal is fully-funded or completed (even before your wedding date) it will be processed and transferred to your bank account. Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for your cash fund transfer to process.
What happens if my registry isn’t fully-funded or completed?
By default, the cash fund registry runs until your wedding date. In the case of not being fully funded or not completed, you’ll get whatever amount you receive less the current BridalPod Service Fee rate. (Learn about the fees under Getting Started)
Why can I just get my cash fund in a lump sum?
We will initiate the transfer process of your cash fund when a goal is fully-funded or completed. We will not hold your money while waiting for all your other goals to be fully-funded or completed.
Can I choose to have all my cash funds transferred after my wedding?
No. We will initiate the process of transferring your money “every time” a goal is fully-funded or completed. We will not hold your money while waiting for all your goals to be fully-funded or completed.
Will I get a notification when you transfer my cash fund?
Yes, you will receive all 3 notifications in your Bridalpod account. When (1st) a goal is completed, (2nd) the start of the transfer process, and (3rd) the confirmation that your money has been transferred to your bank.
Wedding Guests FAQ
Do I need to create a BridalPod account?
No. As a guest who would like to contribute to a cash fund registry, you simply start by choosing the amount you want to contribute and you will be guided by the checkout process that will follow.
Do I need a Paypal account?
No. You can contribute conveniently using credit/debit cards, Visa, Mastercard (which also includes GCash Mastercard), or Paypal.
Is there a fee?
Guests Pay Paypal Processing Fees
As a guest, you will be charged a processing fee of 3.9% plus a fixed amount of 15 pesos when you contribute to a cash fund registry. This fee is collected upfront by Paypal. By paying this fee, you are allowing the gift recipient (couple) to use our registry service at little to no cost to them.

Is my information safe when I contribute to a Cash Fund Registry?
Security for our users is a priority. Our site uses industry standard 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to ensure that sensitive data (credit card and personal information) is transmitted securely. We also use payment gateway Paypal to process all cash contributions. Paypal works to keep financial information secure when transacting online. PayPal is the world’s leading payment processing company. It has achieved PCI DSS compliance certification under various programs and standards.
I live abroad, can I contribute to a cash fund registry?
Yes! This is the beauty of an online cash fund registry. We use Paypal which can receive and process money worldwide.
How will I know the couple receives my cash contribution?
You will receive a confirmation email from Paypal after your contribution has been processed. At the same time, the registrant can see a real-time update from the Guest Activity tab in the Registry account. Also, the guest’s name and the amount of contribution will be displayed on the Registry section of their wedding website. *Guests have the option to display their names or stay anonymous.
