First We Met
December 14, 2015
Jon and Kash were classmates in a prerequisite subject in their college in 2015. Kash had a crush on Jon, but refused several times when mutual friends offered to do introductions. Months later, they were formally introduced during the UP Lantern Parade of 2015 which they were both required to attend. A few days later, on December 23 (Christmas Eve Eve), Jon first messaged Kash saying he and his family would be going up to Baguio after Christmas. This was also when she found out that he didn't even remember being in the same class with her!
First Date
December 30, 2015
A week after their first exchange of messages, Jon traveled to Baguio to meet Kash and officially started courting her then. What Kash thought was a friendly hang out turned out to be their first date. Their first official date was on New Year's Day.
In A Relationship
April 30, 2016
Jon y Kash were set to watch Les Miserables on the night of April 30, 2016 with his mom and sister. That morning, while at her tito's house in Manila with her mom and some relatives from Baguio, Jon passed by to ask her to be his girlfriend - while she was in a swimsuit because none of those who were in on the surprise warned her to at least be dressed up!
We're Engaged
June 08, 2024
Jon initially had plans to propose while hiking a mountain (which was how they spent their first anniversary). Not knowing about his plans, Kash kept choosing to spend her time off duty to sleep instead. On the first week on June 2024, Kash told Jon she'd be going to Baguio to visit her lolo who was in the hospital. Jon took this opportunity to propose that same weekend. During the bus ride, while Kash was asleep for most of the trip coming from a 24hour duty, Jon was practicing his speech. They got engaged that night.
