Our Love Story
First We Met

It was not love at first sight!
We met at our community church in Rise Up Ministries, Bacoor, Cavite. A very casual meeting. No expectations.
Back then, we were acquaintances with a common close family friend. We didn’t have much interactions other than being in the Music Ministry together as a guitarist and a singer. She was coming from a bad relationship while he was in a relationship at the time.
It came later in that year when we became closer, starting out conversations by simply sending the photos of her taken at the church and calling her “Ajhumma” (granny in korean) in a private message. From then on, it was friendly conversations which would later lead to getting to know each other and finding commonalities unintentionally. From boba teas to coffee to later, looking into newly opened cafés until eventually confessions.
Reaching out to our parents and senior pastor to bless us, we made our relationship Official on October 29, 2019.
First Date
November 03, 2019
It was after the All Souls Day that we went out on our first date. We strolled around General Trias and went to Mang Mike’s and McDards which would eventually become the place where we would usually chose to eat out.
In A Relationship

It was not easy for the both of us. We both discover each other’s toyo but God is good. We are not perfect, but we agreed in a few relationship rules: (1) never to sleep in anger. (2) Never to argue in front of our family and friends to keep our matters private (3) seek a kuya or ate for advice (4) to cease fire when and never let our fight hinder us from the Ministry and most of all (5) to respect each other.
We both have our differences but we always try to find our common ground. He was not outspoken, but she is a yapper for life and would constantly bug him of opening up to tell her how he feels.
Sooner in the relationship, we started to learn how to get past our traumas and depend on each other. We are each other’s emotional and mental support and God is faithful to keep us together.
We're Engaged

A normal Saturday morning, we were coming from our night shifts to head off to our weekend, we planned to try out the newly opened “Ambo’s Panaderia” across Alabang Town Center in Molito as we are both into pâtisserie.
What she thought was just another date will be one of the most memorable one with a ring on it! He proposed awkwardly and she said yes without double thinking and understanding what he said, honestly and the rest is history!
