SM Cinema — The Lion King
Even after becoming a couple, it took us a few months to have our first real date. Most of our time was spent with family and friends, until we finally went to SM Cinema to watch The Lion King together. What seemed like a simple movie date became one of our sweetest memories, especially when its theme song eventually became one of "our songs" a little piece of that day that stayed with us through the years.

After months of friendship, little gestures, and feelings neither of us could ignore, we finally chose each other. February 28 became even more special when he gathered the courage to speak to my Papa and ask for his permission to be with me. It was the beginning of us two young hearts choosing a love that would grow with us through the years.

Nearly eight years later, beneath the beautiful city lights of Antipolo, the shy boy I once knew knelt in front of me and asked me to be his wife.
