Our Love Story
First We Met

We met during the pandemic. At that time, I was working in BGC, and commuting was very difficult because of the lockdown. I posted on Facebook that I was looking for a rider who could pick me up and drop me off in BGC. He reached out and offered to do it on a daily basis for 100 pesos since he didn’t have work because his company was also on lockdown due to the pandemic.
First Date

Since it was the pandemic, we didn’t really have a proper or formal date because all the restaurants were closed. There was no dine-in, only takeout. Sometimes, we would eat our takeout food while sitting on his motorcycle outside my office.
Our first real date at a restaurant was on November 14 at La Franco’s Veranda along Marilaque Highway. It was our first long motorcycle ride together and our first nature trip as well.
In A Relationship

We went to Antipolo Church to have his new motorcycle blessed, then we headed to La Franco’s Veranda. I had already planned to say yes to being his girlfriend by baking a cake with a dedication that said, “It’s a yes.” It was one of the happiest moments of our lives.
We're Engaged

It was our 4th anniversary that day, and we didn’t have any plans. He picked me up from work and asked me to open the compartment of his motorcycle. Inside, he surprised me with flowers and a ring. Then he asked me to marry him and proposed right there not bongga or extravagant, but with pure love and sincere intention. Of course, I said yes!
