Makati was the setting of our first meeting—a quick coffee, a casual hangout, nothing fancy. He was running late, lost in unfamiliar streets, while I waited with nervous excitement. Then he appeared, slightly out of breath, but smiling. I took his hand, and we walked together, and somehow it just felt right—as if our hearts had known each other all along.

It was supposed to be our anniversary, a day of celebration. We spent it scouting wedding venues, even stopping by our dream reception spot—beautiful, but a little beyond our budget. Still, fate had a surprise in store. Right there by the lakeside, with nothing but the view and our hearts full, he asked the most important question. Just us, and it was perfect.
