First We Met

Our story began at the Department of Agriculture, where our paths first crossed. Von was working at RAFIS, while Fiel was an encoder at MIS. We were introduced by a mutual friend who was also Fiel’s coworker, and soon after, Von gathered the courage to send Fiel a message.

At first, Fiel didn’t reply right away, leaving Von waiting and hoping. Eventually, she responded—and that simple message became the start of something special.

As their conversations grew, Von found a unique way to express his feelings. Using his talent in drawing, he created a portrait of Fiel and personally gave it to her. Touched by his gesture, Fiel treated Von to a burger at McDonald’s.

What seemed like a simple moment became something meaningful. From that first message, one drawing, and a burger date, their love story began.
