First We Met

Say and I met back in October 2016 at the office. I was in management, she was an agent, and at first, I didn't pay much attention—even with a rumor floating around that she had a crush on me. My focus was entirely on work and studies. That changed on a gridlocked day on Shaw Boulevard. We were in the same jeepney, and to avoid being late, she got off to walk to Rockwell, Ortigas. She was so simple—hair in a neat bun, oversized shirt, holding an antique fan covered in handwritten names. She accidentally left that fan on the seat. I grabbed it to return it, and it definitely had a distinct smell! A few days later, after missing a shift, she walked back into the office after a complete makeover. Dressed effortlessly feminine with her hair straightened and eyelashes done, she completely stunned me. In my eyes, she was the most beautiful girl in the room, and I swore right then: She is going to be the mother of my children.
First Date

Our first date happened shortly after that unforgettable makeover. Neither of us had much money at the time, so we didn't do anything fancy. Instead, we spent the entire day sitting together on a simple bench near Rockwell. From morning until afternoon, we just sat there talking about our lives, sharing our backgrounds, and opening up to each other. That humble bench is where our real story truly began. There was an immediate connection and a deep understanding between us that didn't require expensive meals or elaborate plans. That very same month, we made the bold move to live together and immediately started planning our future. Later that year, we welcomed our first child. Though we faced devastating heartbreak early on when we lost our first baby, that quiet day on the bench laid the groundwork for a bond that would weather every storm coming our way.

Our journey together was far from a smooth fairytale. Losing our first baby and dealing with external family pressures tested us deeply, leading to a painful cycle of breaking up and reconciling. Yet, every time we hit a wall, a miracle followed. Lauren came into our lives just when we thought it was over, bringing fresh hope. Later, while I was in India for work, Say called to share that Kavya was on the way. When financial hardship hit rock bottom, we agreed to split and co-parent. But watching Say mother our daughters changed everything. Her selflessness, patience, and fierce love for our family deeply inspired me. Having grown up without a safety net, our little family meant the world to her. In 2025, my career took off, transforming our lives completely and giving us stability, travel, and peace of mind.

After ten long years of trials, heartbreak, quiet growth, and rebuilding, we both realized it was finally time. People often say it's hard to rebuild love once it's broken, but the truth is, love never actually left us—we were just two young people learning how to fight for each other. Seeing how much we’ve both grown, how grounded we’ve become, and the beautiful life we’ve built for Lauren and Kavya made everything clear. We endured the lowest valleys and celebrated the highest peaks together, proving that our bond is unbreakable. Now, fully matured, deeply rooted in our commitment, and more united than ever, we are ready to take this long-awaited step. We are excited to finally tie the knot, celebrate our journey with the people we love, and officially start this next beautiful chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
