He noticed me long before I noticed him; I remember only a fleeting smile from a boy I did not yet know would one day become my partner in life.
First date
Jun 14, 2019Years passed, and life moved us forward in different directions. Then one day, a simple friend request appeared on Facebook. A few conversations began, then faded into silence.
Time passed again—until another message arrived. What seemed ordinary at first slowly became the beginning of something neither of us expected.
It was not love at first sight, nor a dramatic turning point. It was gentle, gradual, and sincere—two lives reconnecting at the right moment, in the right season, guided quietly by grace.

There were times when staying was difficult, when letting go seemed easier. Yet grace met us in those moments, gently leading us back to one another. Through it all, God remained present, faithfully guiding our hearts toward love, patience, and understanding.
We're Engaged
Jul 24, 2019We were just casually walking around the mall on a normal day when he suddenly stopped and said, “Natinik ako.” I panicked and quickly checked his mouth right there in the middle of the crowd. When he stuck out his tongue, I expected to see a thorn or food — but instead, there was an engagement ring.
My fear instantly turned into shock and laughter. It wasn’t a grand or fancy proposal, just playful and completely unexpected — but that’s what made it unforgettable. In the most ordinary moment, he gave me one of the most extraordinary surprises of my life.
