We first connected online, starting simply as friends. Even though we lived far apart — me in Antipolo, Rizal and Froilan in Imus, Cavite — we quickly discovered we shared roots from Mindanao. We never marked the exact day we became official, but we agreed to backdate it to March 26, 2023 — a playful decision that reflects our easygoing bond. What mattered wasn’t the date itself, but the choice we made to stay together through ups and downs, building trust and love along the way.

That day will forever stay in my heart. Froilan didn’t just ask me for a “yes” — he came to our house with his parents, showing respect and sincerity. Together, they asked my family for my hand in marriage, making our love official not only between us but also blessed by both families. I felt the weight of tradition, the joy of commitment, and the overwhelming happiness of knowing we were stepping into forever. It wasn’t just a proposal; it was the start of our journey as one, surrounded by love and blessings.
