It was the last day of the Bar exam in Manila, a moment she had worked so hard for, and one I had secretly been waiting for. I wanted to surprise her. She didn’t know I’d be there, let alone waiting with flowers in hand, excited and nervous to finally meet after months of talking.
I stood by the main gate of the testing center, expecting her to come out with the crowd. But as people poured out, she was nowhere in sight. I started to worry, had I missed her?
I messaged her friend, hoping for a clue, and that’s when I learned she had exited through a different gate and was already at a nearby McDonald’s.
I rushed over, heart racing—and then I saw her.
She was even more beautiful than I imagined, standing there with her calm smile. That simple moment, after all our chats and calls, was the beginning of something real—something we both felt was just the start of forever.

Our first meeting on September 24 was short, but something about it lingered, like a spark waiting to grow. It felt too soon to say goodbye, so we decided to see each other again the very next day.
I picked her up, heart quietly racing, and we went to Robinsons Magnolia. We talked, laughed, and shared a meal at Texas Roadhouse. It felt easy, natural, like we’d known each other longer than just a few days.
That second meeting, simple as it was, felt different. Time slowed down. Every moment with her felt warm and right. It was the day everything began to feel real, not just the start of something new but the beginning of something lasting.

A few days after our Cebu trip—our first adventure together—we found ourselves still smiling from the memories we made. We had just watched the Planetshakers concert, our very first concert together, surrounded by music, lights, and moments that felt bigger than words.
Something about that night stayed with us. Maybe it was the way we laughed, the comfort in the silence between songs, or how natural it felt to be side by side. It was more than just a concert, it was the start of something deeper.
Not long after, on February 29, 2024, we made it official. A rare date for a rare kind of love. Since then, every day has been filled with the kind of joy, peace, and love that we felt growing quietly during that trip.
Now as we begin our forever, we look back at that moment as the quiet beginning of everything we were meant to be.
We're Engaged

Our first international trip as a couple took us to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, a journey filled with excitement, love, and celebration. We were there to mark my birthday and to make memories in a place we had always wanted to explore together.
As part of the trip, we planned a photoshoot with a local photographer to capture our adventure. Our first location was the beautiful Ho Chi Minh Museum. What she did not know was that I had already spoken to the photographer and shared a secret—this was not just a photoshoot. It was the moment I would ask her to be my wife.
With the museum as our backdrop and her smile lighting up every frame, I got down on one knee. She was surprised, emotional, and glowing with joy as she said yes.
That day became more than just a birthday or a trip. It became the beginning of forever, captured in every photo and sealed with a promise of a lifetime together.
