It all began in 2009, when Jayson and his family had just moved into Gelaine’s community. As new neighbors, their paths naturally crossed, and one simple “Hi” became the first chapter of a love story neither of them expected. What started as a friendly greeting slowly blossomed into a sweet and innocent connection. Behind shy smiles, little conversations, and stolen glances, they quietly developed a mutual admiration and a secret crush for each other. At such a young age, they had no idea that the simple hello between two teenage neighbors would one day become the beginning of a lifetime together.

Our first date was wonderfully simple—sharing tuhog-tuhog and spending hours talking and laughing together on the corner of our street. Those ordinary moments became some of our most treasured memories, proving that love doesn't need grand gestures to begin.

After getting to know each other, our relationship became official on November 8, 2010. Before giving her heart completely, the bride's mother gave her blessing after seeing the groom's genuine intentions. He won Mama Geraldine's approval not with extravagant gifts, but by becoming part of the family—joining their videoke sessions, sharing laughter, and making time to create meaningful memories together.
Over the years, our love grew stronger through every season of life. We celebrated victories, overcame challenges, and stood by each other's side through every high and low.

Three Rings, One Promise
In 2017, Jayson first asked Gelaine, “Will you marry me?” Knowing he had to wait, he chose to honor her promise. The first ring became a symbol of patience, commitment, and faith in God’s timing.
In 2020, they began preparing for marriage, but the Taal eruption and the pandemic put their plans on hold. The second ring became a reminder to keep holding on and trust God’s plan, even when the timing was uncertain.
In 2025, they planned to marry, but another “not yet” came as they faced unexpected challenges.
Finally, on August 2, 2026, three months before their Big Day, Jayson asked again. While at a restaurant, he secretly placed the ring inside the tissue Gelaine had asked him to get.
Three rings, three seasons, one promise—a love that waited, a faith that endured, and a journey beautifully guided by God’s perfect timing.
