Like all great love stories, the beginnings of ours were defined by spontaneity.
We met when Jen just left her NGO job and was about to start a new chapter in her career, while Gian was in the process of closing his.
We had one week to meet and get to know each other, just enough, to keep the intimacy alive after we separated ways.
It was simple, we went to Jen's old NGO workplace, took the train, and had dinner.
Yet somehow, we remember the kilig as a new couple from that day as if it was just yesterday.
We did not go through the usual "courting" stage. We just spent as much time together as we can with whatever free time we had.
With every moments together, we knew we wanted to take it further, we just had to pick a date....
January 7 felt right.
We got our rings on this day. They were perfect, especially Jen's engagement ring which looked beautiful on her. It was a shame to put them in storage to wait for that "perfect" timing.
So we got engaged on the same day!
