Our first date and the day that I said “YES” to his courtship.
After chatting since 2022, we finally went on our first date—and it was also the day I said “YES” to Joel’s courtship. So technically, this date was a long time coming. 😂
Two years later, in 2024, we finally became official. What started with endless conversations slowly turned into something more, and eventually, into the love story we’re still writing today. From two people who started by simply talking to finally becoming “us”—I guess some things really are worth the wait. 🖤
In A Relationship

It wasn't exactly a smooth ride. 😂 Our relationship came with mixed emotions, fears, doubts, and a little bit of baggage from the past. We were both scared of experiencing the same heartache and making the same mistakes again. And since we're both the “date-to-marry” type of people, we definitely took things seriously—maybe sometimes a little too seriously. 😂
There were a lot of conversations, overthinking, and moments of “Are we really doing this?” But somehow, through all the doubts and fears, we kept choosing each other. And little by little, we learned that maybe love isn't about finding someone without baggage—it’s about finding someone willing to carry the heavy things with you. 🖤
We're Engaged

And then came the day Joel decided that simply being my boyfriend wasn't enough. 😂
On his birthday, after everything we had been through—the doubts, fears, difficult conversations, laughter, and all the little moments that brought us closer—he decided to ask me the biggest question of all: if I would spend the rest of my life with him.
And of course, I said “YES.” 🖤💍
From being teammates, to endless conversations, to our first date, to navigating the messy and beautiful parts of being in a relationship, we somehow made it here. On his birthday, we said “YES” to forever—and officially became fiancés.
Looking back, maybe we didn't have the easiest love story. But we had a real one. And through it all, we kept choosing each other. 🖤
