The Wedding of

Pardon the date; year lang naaalala ko.

We met at church. She was younger than me, so it did not cross my mind that someone from the church would make me fall like this. Fast forward to the time na nasa ministry na kami both, nag message si Kheyl ng "kuya," nag simula talaga sa pakuya kuya lang, sabi nga ni TJ Monterde.

Then parang napapansin ko araw-araw na kami magtext kahit iba pa yung network, limited lang nga to 50 text pero worth it.

Then one day I just thought to tell her how I feel, kasi sobrang close na kami na wala nga lang label.

I asked what she was doing. She said she was just listening to TAYLOR SWIFT while looking at the moon through her window.

Then she asked me the same question.

I answered.

"I'm thinking about my crush that's listening to TAYLOR SWIFT and looking at her window right now."

Then yun, we started talking more, linking to our first ever date....

I would always brag na sa first 1 year and a couple of months ng relationship namin, we never fought. Until one day she said, “Baby, away naman tayo,” sabay tawa. Hahaha. Then ayun, mula noon nag-aaway na kami. Pero there was a time na iniwan ko siya. Pumasok sa isip ko na masyado siyang bata, so I “ghosted” her. Until one night, I dreamt of a voice calling me “Baby,” tapos kumakanta. Na-realize ko, boses niya ‘yun. Alam niyo naman, mataas boses niya kahit normal na tawa. Hahaha. Unti-unti nag-message ako ulit hanggang nagkita kami. Sakto DVBS noon. Sabi niya kukunin na siya ng tita niya sa Cavite para doon mag-aral. Nalungkot ako at napaisip about us. Pinuntahan ko siya habang nagwawalis at sabi ko, “Paano na ako?” Nagsimula kami ulit at pinakilala ang isa't isa sa mga pamilya namin. Mas naging understanding, supportive, at open kami. May “monthly meeting” pa para maayos agad issues. Hindi kami perfect, may away pa rin, pero iba na mag-handle. Siguro yun ang growth sa relationship.
