Our Love Story
First We Met

Our story started way back in high school. We were introduced to each other by Lester who was Ton’s cousin and my batchmate. We initially started as textmates but we were both young back then. After a while, the conversations stopped.
Then after 10 years, we accidentally met at Starbucks. He was a barista while I was a customer. He then added me on Facebook where we casually talked from time to time. But timing wasn’t really on our favor as either one of us was in a relationship in that era.
Another 10 years have passed when we were finally given the chance to get to know each other deeper. From ordering Fresh Lumpia from his online food business, to talking to each other 24/7.
First Date
January 06, 2026
After several months of non-stop communication, we finally decided to meet. What was supposed to be a short lunch date turned to a whole day itinerary. Before the day ended, we made sure to visit the Church. It turns out that we were each other’s answered prayer.
In A Relationship

It happened inside the Church, while we were praying in front of God. He secretly got the flowers then gave it to me with a note asking if I can be his girlfriend. It was his way of promising to me and to God that he will be devoted to me from then on.
We're Engaged

After months of planning, he finally decided to pop the question during their out-of-town trip in La Union. It was a sunny Saturday. While I was peacefully watching the waves, he was silently preparing for his big surprise. He invited a few of his closest relatives and his bestfriend to witness this special day. And when the timing felt right, he slowly approached me, knelt on the ground, pulled out the ring, and asked my hand for marriage. With no doubt, I said “YES”!
