The Wedding of

Marforey and Azalia first met in Alcala, Pangasinan, during a Family Home Evening held at a member’s home. At that time, Marforey was serving as a missionary assigned in Alcala, while Azalia was quiet and had only come to join the activity with the family. Marforey initially thought she was an investigator belonging to that household.

It was in an unexpected and lighthearted way that they officially became a couple on May 19. Azalia posted on social media saying, “I am open for a relationship; anyone who is interested may apply.” At that same time, Marforey had already planned to deactivate his Facebook account, but he suddenly remembered the advice from his mentor to begin looking for someone to date. He opened his account one last time, and there he saw Azalia’s post. Knowing her already as Sister Azalia, he decided to reach out. Azalia, on the other hand, had also been advised that if someone sincere and of good character approached her, she should accept. And so, that day, they officially began their relationship.
