We first met in Bustos, Bulacan, as a civil engineer and a design architect collaborating on projects. What began as a professional working relationship slowly grew into friendship, and eventually into a love we never expected—but are forever grateful for.

His adventurous spirit led us away from the noise, into moments where it felt like it was just the two of us and the world stood still. One of those moments was a simple ride to DRT, where we found our own space, our own time, and the kind of happiness that can exist even in the shortest moments together.

Over our three years together, we became each other’s best friend, partner, sometimes enemy, and travel buddy. We never imagined that love could be this gentle, kind, and patient. It taught us that love doesn’t have to be loud or rushed; sometimes it grows quietly, steady and sure. Even in a short time, we have become certain of each other. When the time is right, nothing can stand in the way—what is meant for you will always find you.

We never imagined that Mt. Mayon would be the witness to our engagement. A longtime dream of traveling to Albay, Bicol, became the perfect opportunity for the proposal. It was a perfect day—me in my favorite yellow dress, experiencing our first ATV ride, and admiring the breathtaking view of Mayon. What started as a collection of firsts became an intimate moment and a memory we will cherish forever.
