It all began in 2006, during their freshman year at Liceo de Pila. Two classmates, sharing the same halls, the same classrooms, and countless moments throughout high school. People often teased them about each other, but it never went anywhere—after all, they were complete opposites. One was lively and makulit, always full of energy, while the other was quiet and shy, keeping mostly to themselves.
Back then, nobody would have guessed that these two very different kids would one day find their way to each other. Yet, life has its surprises. Years later, paths crossed again, hearts recognized one another, and what started as a simple friendship grew into a love that neither could ignore.
From high school classmates to partners in life, they proved that sometimes the most unexpected beginnings lead to the most beautiful endings.
First date

They went on their first date after reconnecting at their high school reunion on March 18, 2023—the first time they had seen each other in 13 years. After three missed opportunities, and despite exchanging casual messages on Facebook over the years that never led to a date, the reunion finally changed everything. Their first date brought them back to Liceo de Pila, starting with a visit to the church connected to their high school and sharing "tapsilog" while reminiscing over memories from their school days. That night marked the beginning of their story together.
