We first met in the church, where I was already part of the worship team and Song was a first-timer attending an encounter retreat. A few months later, we began to know each other more as we both served in the worship team. Through music, ministry, and shared moments of service, God allowed our connection to grow naturally. Looking back, we realize that every encounter was part of His greater plan. What began as simple fellowship blossomed into a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is, indeed, always perfect. 🩵
It was hard to decide what to call our “first date,” since we often went out with our circle of friends. But looking back, our time at Calixto Café was the one that truly felt like us. That evening, we finally had the chance to really talk — about our stories, our likes and dislikes, and everything in between. There were kilig moments, laughter, and a deep, romantic connection that made us both sure of our feelings and ready to take things to the next level. It may have been a simple café date, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our story — a day filled with laughter, pictures and genuine joy in each other’s company. 🤎
After years of serving in the same ministry, sharing a beautiful friendship, and spending months truly getting to know each other, our love story officially began on his 25th birthday — October 25, 2023. I planned a surprise birthday celebration for him at our home. That was the day we took our friendship to the next chapter — the beginning of our journey as a couple. 🩷
And finally, on my birthday — March 19, 2025 — what I thought would be a simple staycation with our closest friends at Azure North Pampanga became one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. Surrounded by the people dearest to us, he asked the question I’ll never forget. With tears of joy and a heart full of peace, I said “yes” — to forever with the love of my life and my answered prayer. 💍🤍
