There is something old but something new with Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2016 collection. Capes, ribbons, some cuts, and matte organza cloth make this collection very now. The collection doesn’t have a fru-fru-over-the-top look but rather simple designs that puts the bride’s wedding-glow at the centerstage. It is a great balance of the old and the new. Also, are we the only ones who noticed that the velvet backdrop is very circa 1990s, inspired by the My Best Friend’s Wedding’s intro scene?
Krizia and Ken wanted to create a fun theme for their wedding that is uniquely theirs. Inspired by their hopes of traveling the world together, a travel-themed celebration was a perfect fit. The venue was set with playful details like suitcases, postcards, globes paired up with fresh floral arrangements to complete the look.
